Graffiti
in Australia is a sort of street culture. Many young people are interested in
painting on the walls of Laneways in Melbourne to express their ideas in
different art forms. For this artwork, it aims to utilize the graffiti way with
Chinese traditional patterns to decorate and enliven the narrow laneway where is
beside a Chinese Museum. So this artwork could become a kind of symbol in this
area and attract people‘s attention. Besides, when night comes, the lights
which are installed in the centre of the walls will be turned on. The position
of these lights is designed on the top of the walls, which can produce a kind
of peaceful
atmosphere.
